Sandeep Dudhwewala is Vice President of “Utility of the Future” for National Grid New York. In his role, Sandeep is responsible for defining the roadmap to execute on National Grid’s strategy to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and enable New York state to achieve its emission reductions goals in electricity, heat, and transportation sectors. National Grid New York serves more than 4 million electric and gas customers across it service territory spanning upstate and downstate New York.

Sandeep’s career spans over 25 years with a broad range of experience in strategic and operational roles in multiple industries. Prior to his current role at National Grid, Sandeep led Business Planning & Performance, Strategic Planning and Corporate Strategy functions. Before joining National Grid, Sandeep worked at NextEra Energy (an industry leader in renewable energy based in Florida) in the Corporate Development and Strategy group. Earlier in his career, Sandeep worked as Management Consultant with Mitchell Madison Group in New York City and held various operational and management roles in the software industry at CA Technologies in Long Island, New York. Sandeep is a graduate of the University of Rochester where he got a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Computer Science. He earned his Master’s in Computer Science from Stonybrook University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
