Geoffrey is passionate about how civically minded and collaboratively built technology can help provide better services, improve resiliency, and create more equitable communities. Before joining the the City of San Antonio’s Office of Innovation, Geoffrey worked for a civic technology company in New York City managing partnerships with cities across 15 states to enable more efficient municipal public works operations. Geoffrey also spent six years in Washington, D.C. advocating, at the federal level, on behalf of public and private sector entities on legislative and regulatory issues specific to transportation, economic development, natural resources, and energy and environmental policy matters. Geoffrey also has several years of public sector experience working as Legislative Aide and District Director for the Texas House of Representatives.

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Geoffrey holds an M.P.A. with a focus on sustainable urban systems from American University in Washington, D.C. and B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
